Thank you to everyone who submitted class and workshop ideas for the craft program at Fiber+Fabric Craft Festival 2026! When we posted our call to the community last month, we had no idea how popular the response would be.

We received nearly 400 submissions that run the gamut of crafting, from knitting, quilting, crochet, cosplay, needlepoint, paper crafts, weaving, and more. So many diverse crafts will be covered with workshops and classes at the show, with educational opportunities for beginners to advanced crafters.

We’re incredibly excited for the potential craft program we’re creating for the premier show in 2026. Craft community favorites like Kaffe Fassett, Miriam Schulman, Sandra Chandler, Sue Spargo, Saffiyah Talley, Alanna Wilcox, Jaymi Horne, Melissa Leapman, Alexandra Weston, Elizabeth Okeyele-Olatunji, and Mary Beth Temple have submitted great workshop proposals. We’re also excited to welcome teachers and craft innovators crafters may not have had the chance to learn from yet.

The 2025 Fiber+Fabric Craft Festival will be welcoming to all. We’re strategizing a craft program for crafters of all ages—stay tuned for news about our children’s workshop tracks alongside adult and teen educational opportunities.
