The Fiber+Fabric Craft Festival invites teachers, speakers and demonstrators to be part of the 2027 lineup. If you have expertise to share or a passion for teaching, we want to hear your idea.
Programming runs April 29, 2027 through the close of the festival on May 2, 2027, with a wide range of learning opportunities across every craft category. Submit your idea today.
Ticketed sessions where attendees make something and take it home. The backbone of the festival programme, and what our audience books first.
Shorter, often free sessions on the show floor or in a demo space. Great for showing a technique to a rolling audience.
Talks about craft, creativity and the maker life. Story-driven rather than technique-driven.
Trends, business of craft, and where the industry is heading. Ideal if you write, design or run a craft business.
We welcome proposals across all crafting categories, including but not limited to these. If your craft is not on the list, propose it anyway.
Tell us what you want to teach, the format, the skill level and what attendees will walk away with. One proposal per idea, and you are welcome to submit more than one.
Proposals are reviewed by the conference team for fit, balance across craft categories and level. We aim for a programme that has something for a first-timer and something for a 30-year quilter.
Accepted instructors are notified by email with next steps on class setup, materials and scheduling.
Teaching at the festival for the first time? The FAQ covers room setup, A/V, materials, handouts and attendance reporting under Classes & Teachers.
If you have questions about proposing a class, scheduling or what is provided in the room, we are happy to help before you submit.
